I ran 3.75 miles today. I felt great. I ran yesterday. This is only the second time I have run on back to back days since I started this whole running thing. I started out slowly, but I decided that at 5 min left I would pick up the pace. I ran the 5 minutes and was at 2.75 miles and decided to keep it up until 3.1 just to see if I could. I slowed down a tad close to 3, but when I got there I sprinted the last .1 and then ran another 3/4 miles after that.
I have felt really strong the last couple days. I did NOT feel strong before my last (first) 5k. I was super nervous and doubting myself. We are running on Saturday at Brookfield Zoo. I'm super excited! We love going to the zoo. My parents are bringing Maggie so we can hang out after the race. Anyway, I think that I am going to do much better this time. I hope.
Dave is running too, I'm sure he will beat me. I tell myself it's because his legs are longer!
